Bridge loan & cash-out calculator: common questions
How does the bridge loan calculator estimate cash-out?
The gross loan equals the payoff plus requested cash-out. Net cash proceeds subtract the payoff and upfront origination points. A negative result means additional cash is needed for those modeled costs. Third-party closing costs and lender reserves can further reduce proceeds.
What does an interest-only bridge loan cost?
Monthly interest equals the modeled loan balance multiplied by the annual rate and divided by twelve. Total capital cost includes interest over the chosen hold period plus entered points and exit fees. This assumes a constant balance and rate; actual fees and repayment terms may differ.
What should I check before using short-term financing?
Compare the requested loan with the modeled LTV limit and test a longer hold period. Review the sale or refinance exit, property value, liquidity and any extension conditions. This calculator does not verify an exit loan, property eligibility or lender approval.
